I am a Westerner, and as such, I love vast open spaces.
I also love a road trip to see, said vast open spaces. I enjoy nothing more than the rolling hills of the prairie, the desert with a gigantic Cumulonimbus storm at the horizon, the textures of the clouds as they build in the sky, the small agricultural towns that seem desolate, or the ever-changing sunsets against a silhouette of mountains or prairies. I have learned that seeing with a Western eye is unique. We find interest in what others perceive as emptiness.
